The Director-general of the department of housing, Itumeleng Kotsoane says that the government is still negotiating with the banks as to how they will share the risk.  Kotsoane further said that another concern was the shortage of suitable housing stock and that a task team has been appointed in order to take the necessary steps to find suitable land as well as to free it for development.
